Now please let me ramble about it a bit.
 I made this mask as a birthday present for a friend. I've always been fascinated by Venice and the masks of the carnival, and when she mentioned that she wanted a Venetian mask, I didn't hesitate trying to produce one just for the fun. Of course, she didn't want to wear it, so I had an easier task. It's made of plaster with a plastic form, so it's solid and pretty heavy, but makes a good wall-hanging. I painted it with acrylic paint and enamel, used glitter glue for the ornaments around the eyes, foam paper for the ornament on the forehead and a glass stone. It sure isn't the last one I made. Incidentally, I've been reading The City of Falling Angels by John Berendt at the time of the making and it was a fascinating read. The title on the photo comes from the song of Duran Duran titled the same. |

Come Undone is one of my favourites, too, but I think the Compilation of Doom will contain more of their stuff then, when/if it's ever done.
